If the central defining point of my existence were that I like women (I'm a man, who likes women) and I made my entire life about that, I would have a severely hollow life and I would probably waste the entire thing complaining and self-fascinated with how people regarded my attraction to women.
In other words, whether you are experiencing yourself as gay or straight or some rainbowy continuum thing ... YOU ARE IN TROUBLE ... if it's so important to you that you consider it 'what I am.'
You might as well say 'who you are' is defined by how much snot comes out of your nose, and what exact color, when you sneeze.
I don't really have an opinion about the Godlessness or Godfulness of people who are gay. But anyone who finds this aspect of themselves, a bodily and worldly attraction, to be their central defining characteristic, is probably going to have a difficult time experiencing God. You have the get the 'I AM' of life correct before you can get the soul IN FACT connected to anything.
End of rant, back to work.
You mean, you’re not “proud” to be heterosexual? We won’t see you performing “acts” in the straight-pride parade?
I don’t think your post was a rant.
I think it was insightful and well measured.
