Early to Bed, Early to Rise, Work Like Hell and Advertise

I’m sure there are many details of Internet advertising that I’m unaware of but I am aware that Internet access to me is important.

Someone receives compensation for providing access to me. It is more important to sell me something but gaining access to me is the first step. It may only be worth pennies to have access to me but those pennies appear to be the force behind the Internet.

The pros and cons of a border wall to assist the government in securing America’s border are in the news. President Trump suggest that a border wall is essential to border security whilst elected representatives suggest a wall is ineffective and too costly.

What little research I have conducted indicates that walls are effective but costly.

Regarding cost I have an idea I would like to explore.

My idea is for the government to sell or lease advertising space for each section of the wall. A business or family may wish to create a memorial with a section of the wall. Individual states may wish to purchase space. Selling subscriptions to view cameras at each section of wall would add revenue. An organization may wish to adopt a wall and its maintenance.

Let’s build a border wall.

Parts of it could be used for internment of the cremated remains of those murdered by criminals crossing illegally.

Title of the thread is a quote from Ted Turner’s biography, “Citizen Turner.”

“My idea is for the government to sell or lease advertising space for each section of the wall.”

Right on. What most folks don’t realize is without the $$$$ from advertising, the US wouldn’t even economically qualify as a third world country.

Why doesn’t the government sell Wall Bonds? Wars were funded with bonds. It’s not tax-slavery or controlled by politicians. Like the wall -buy bonds. Don’t like the wall -don’t buy bonds. Keep the politicians out of it.
