Commentary: I haven't eaten beef in a decade, and the new fake meat at CES comes close enough to cow to gross me out. That's a compliment, I think.
I have a pretty strong stomach. Roller coasters are my jam. Virtual reality never makes me queasy. No technology at CES had ever made me nauseous -- until I ate fake beef tartare made from the latest version of Impossible Burger.
A scoop of tartare -- mixed through with finely diced onions, mustard and capers -- glistened on a poker-chip-size slice of chewy rye bread. It was expertly prepared by Mike Minor, the mustachioed executive chef of Border Grill in Las Vegas. As he folded the ingredients into the ruddy pink ground beef with two spoons, I asked him what difference he notices between this fake tartare and the kind that comes from cows.

Regardless of her semi endorsement, this is NOT someone I would want to spend any time with. What a precious little .... who probably votes Democrat as demonstration of her version of morality.
He’s not the best to judge. If he hasn’t eaten meat in 10 years he forgot what it tastes like. I want to know what someone who only eats meat thinks of the food.

The only frankenfood the left likes.
The restaurants in my city that boasted of having impossible burgers were offering them for $20 apiece.
I realize grocers and other lower that sale point but it is still overhyped emperor’s new clothes.
My buddy’s a vegetarian. He used to eat meat. He had one at dinner last week when a bunch of us were out. He said it was better than most veggie burgers but no way did it taste like beef.
Kill it, gut it, butcher it cook it ( or not…it’s up to you) and devour it. Yum.
Vegetarians will not survive an apocalypse. Omnivores will.
That taste would never have been know if people had never eaten a dead animal.
