They have already begun impeachment proceedings and I have no doubt they will continue to throw EVERYTHING against the wall but the problem with that is it’s too slow. They must prevent Trump from nominating RBGs replacement. Once he makes the nomination its almost impossible to stop it even is he is impeached later on. The progressives must act now to prevent the nomination and they only way thy can do that is to make sure that DJT and/or Pence aren’t in a position to make that nomination. It’s much easier that way much has the added benefit of Pelosi as president to make that nomination and use her “mandate” to correct all of DJT’s policies by EO.
I didn’t war game out how they’d do the removal. The version I put out was off the top of my head and a second look tells me that it’s not bad for not being war gamed. It fits well within the democrat motus operandi. However in all honesty a bloody coup has a less messy aftermath and is easier to explain away. Just look at JFK.
