Apple watch = Ankle monitoring by law enforcement. Actually toss in smart phones too.

We all willingly walk around with locating trackers, spending trackers, banking trackers, mail, phone, and messaging trackers, and pay a company for the privelidge of being spied on and hacked in every aspect of our lives.

I really liked my thin gold Seiko quartz wristwatch bought in 1981. But it only lasted less than 20 years then wore out, unrepairable. I still have it, a beautiful piece of nonfunctional jewelery. Dang.

IPhones, iPads, iPods, etc are going to go the same way. Planned obsolescence, like a 1914 Stutz Bearcat or a tatted linen couch arm doily, stunning in its day and still beautiful in its own way, but in time utterly useless.
