An elderly Florida man was arrested this week after allegedly following a driver towards his home and shooting at him in a bout of road rage, police said.
Christino Aquino, 85, was detained on Wednesday evening after allegedly tailing a motorist in Marion Oaks, according to a Marion County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) release. The suspect was captured on the victim’s dash cam footage, which was later released to social media.
The driver told deputies that he had noticed a “suspicious vehicle” that was flashing its lights in his rear mirror while he was driving home from work at approximately 6:30 p.m., cops said.

From what I saw on the video, no shots fired by the elderly guy when he was followed the victim, however, once the vehicles were turned around and the victim was following the elderly guy and the elderly guy pulled over onto the grass, the victim pulled over behind him to read the license plate to the 911 operator. When the victim pulled close from behind to the elderly guy, that is when the elderly guy took shots at the victim.
Not saying the elderly guy acted reasonably, but it seems that the victim was not being pursued and getting shot at.
Got to watch out for those old ladies and old guys.
Driving slow in the left lane has consequences.
Maybe the elderly gent was originally following the "victim" to get his plate number and then was chased.
