Thankfully, I don’t have to leave the house. Its 2 degrees out there! The moon is right out of the window of the den, so I’m cuddled up on the couch watching ;-)

It was Russian interference in my post that mixed up my time zones. lol. :)
We’ve got 40-50 MPH winds and temperatures with the wind of about 10-15 degrees F in the DC area.
I’m going to watch the eclipse but my wife has a blowtorch ready to thaw me out (I hope).
The article does say 9:36 PM ET and 12:12 AM ET for peak eclipse. It's 10:15 EST now and still don't see much.
They did request some WZ but, oddly, they wanted Lawyers, Guns and Money or Excitable Boy.
I think I'll mess with them and play Bad Moon On the Rise instead.

Saw my first lunar eclipse at age nine. In 1956.
The Seattle Rainiers baseball team was playing on TV.
Went into overtime. 21 innings !
The game ended about the same time as the best part of the eclipse.
Memorable time with my dad, getting to stay up late too !

Just looked at it. Perfectly clear, bright and looks normal. No color.
