LOL! I wonder where our resident flat-earthers are, and what their theories are re: the turtles...

Your tip got me to the correct direction. Had to go outside though. Just in time to see moon before clouds came over. 7 degrees here.

That was hilarious. I do thank you for the laugh. :)

Sent it to my math major nephew also.

Pretty neat! I’m watching it be all dark here.

The difference is pretty amazing. When the moon rose it shone so brightly down my driveway it looked like a car was turning into it. Now it’s so dark I can barely see the deck beneath my feet when I step out.

Sing out “What’s for dinner?” that’ll really get ‘em ticked off.

Sorry about the cloud cover. It has been cool to watch.
I’m done now though, my neck’s had it with craning back to see it.

Someone on the live stream I'm watching asked what Earth would look like from the Moon, during a lunar eclipse. From NASA's Scientific Visualization Studio:

Thanks!
Not the same as seeing it myself though...

The cloud cover lifted. Now I can see the eclipsed moon clearly. And the full Eclipse will be over shortly.

Just went outside here in North East Texas, clear skies, got a real good look. Cold, came back in.
