The New England Patriots are going to the Super Bowl. Its a familiar story that most football fans outside the greater Boston area are weary of. When Tom Brady led an overtime touchdown drive to beat the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, New England punched its ninth Super Bowl ticket of the Brady/Bill Belichick era. Patriots incite anger The reactions on Twitter were swift and often harsh, with many we wouldnt repost here due to some exceptionally angry language. Some chose to express their anger in less-profane ways.

What an exciting game! And it could easily have gone either way. There were multiple calls that were a matter of inches on replays, and I think they were correct. Unlike the missed interference call in the Saints game.
NFL. Piss on it.
That being said I wish Brady well with it.
Quoting twitter posts is like talking to drunks at the local bar. The newspapers never did that. This is lazy reporting.
And I love the Pats. I dread what will happen the year after Tom and Bill close down their show.
I must admit I broke and watched the game, the first one all year.
Enjoy it while it lasts. Consider yourself blessed.
I wonder if the Patriot quarterback were black if that kind of mindless hatred would be permissible.
I watched the game. The Patriots were better. It is just that simple.
And some of Brady’s passes were incredible, as was that catch by Gronkowski.
Saints got hosed.
1. Helmet to helmet hit.
2. Defender made no attempt to play the ball.
3. Contact well before the ball arrives.
And no call?
Even if you give a pass on 2 and 3, the current NFL focus on head injury safety is a 100% penalty call on 1.
Wonder if the Saints were playing the Raiders if the refs would have thrown a flag on the play?
Hurray for chatroom screenshots being sufficient for a news report.
I expect to see Belichick dragging a cave man style club across the stage for the coach interview for the stupid bowl.
In today's game an excellent QB can make an excellent {not always, check out the Chargers} coach. Wild Bill has used pretty boy to his fullest capabilities.
I say pretty boy with great respect, Brady is not only the best ever QB {check his Super Bowl Rings} he is one of the best looking QBs in the league.
It has been an amazing run. Boston has been treated to a sports culture that is second to none.
The thing that people dont talk about too much is the sports culture in New England is based on hard work, high expectations and an understanding that you are here to do a job.
Yes, there are the video gate and deflation scandals. But they are tiny compared to the fact that when they are down by a touchdown with 2:03 left in the game, the feeling is, Yeah...we still have lots of time.
KC is the team of the next ten years. Their kid is amazing.

And his wife makes more money than he does.
The Saints didn’t play well enough to beat the third team on the field, The Refs.
Bring you’re A game to the playoffs, Saints, other teams don’t wait for slow starts.
That being said, the ref crew for that game should be fired right now today for incompetence and/ or dishonesty.
And Brady’s always had a “go to” white receiver.
Brady is the best ever and belongs there. New Orleans, OTOH, was screwed by a bad call. Just a guess but I suspect the lack of attention to that blown call is related to a minority ref.
Agree. At least the questionable calls (with which I agreed) went both ways in the Pats game. It really should be the Patriots vs Saints. Nothing Super about the LA Lambs.
Everyone knows the Saints got screwed. I’m Cowboys fan, my wife is a Saints fan. We’re both sick of the Patriots.
Just bought tickets to a Broadway Show and dinner reservations after. No Super Bowl for us this year. #nopats
I so much wanted to see a Brady versus Brees Super Bowl. Statistically, their respective records are very close. Brees leads Brady in certain stats, and vice versa.
I hate both teams. Too bad the Saints got shafted by the incompetent and/or corrupt refs.
I will have no trouble finding something more rewarding to do on Super Sunday, like cleaning the toilet.
