Sorry, but the “angry Darth Vader” look is getting old. A modern interpretation of round headlights and sensible chrome grilles would be nice.

Looks like we have similar opinions of the styling.

Ten year old Maseratis frequently go for $25k. Maintenance headache.

Not in the market for a Mustang right now, but I’ve admired them ever since they started the retro styling, and I’ve liked the latest iteration. However, will all new Mustangs have the “Transformers” looking front end of the prototype in the pic? If so, no sale for me.

Agreed. Loved the first generation retro Mustangs (2005-?).

Huge improvement over the 2004s.

Still dreaming of a car with Italian design and Japanese engineering and quality control.

Yes - and I think there are many of us who think the same way. These cars are way too “toy like” looking and I fear the new corvette will be over the top as well. Eagle Speedster did a good job on reinterpreting the Jaguar XKE and they don’t feel compelled to change much from year to year. It’s hand-built unfortunately and out of my price range.

That thing would bottom out in the driveway. Waste of money.

I saw that car in 1980 at the SAAC (Shelby American Automobile Club) national convention that was held in Dearborn Michigan that year.

It wouldn’t look too bad if the
bumper were painted to match the
color of the car. The way it is now,
it gets lost in the grille.
