It could be their diet causing the problem. I worked with a woman who was very well groomed, and, AFAIK, showered regularly. However, her family’s diet apparently included enough garlic to choke a Gilroy farmer.
In spite of her bathing and grooming habits, she almost always reeked of garlic, practically oozing from her pores. We worked in the same group, but not she and I sat far enough away from each other that the odor seldom bothered me. Still...!
“Yossi Adler a 36-year-old business consultant from Southfield, Michigan accused the airline of singling out his family because they’re Jewish.”
That does help explain why Judaism is a dying religion.
Michael Moore ejected again? Told that boy to take a shower, at least once a month. Sheesh! He won’t listen to anyone.
On a flight from Ban Me Thuot in Central S. VN to Saigon, we had a problem. One of our interpreters’ bought a dog for his family, and it barfed in the back of the plane.
We were sitting in a small cargo plane with no place to go. No open windows.
The smell was overwhelming.
I hope that dog became a “chow hound” in a Saigon dinner.
However, for this guy to claim it is a rejection of his religion is simply ridiculous.
On the plus side, garlic repels parasites, so they’ll not be carrying ticks or fleas.
No sardines?
because they’re Jewish

Really? I bet not.
So the crew members were muzzies too? Who would of thought......
Maybe they had onions on their burgers before they boarded...
My guess is that it was a washing issue. Some religions/sects have strict rules regarding it.
Jeez, he jumped right to that, didnt he?
When all else fails, say theyre racist...
Most likely. I hope it wasn’t because of the child neede his diaper changed...
Iy would be ridiculous for the whole crew of a deep-pockets company like American Airlines, risking their jobs, to deboard a family based on their religion, if it was proveable.
The family was given an overnight stay in a good hotel, with meals paid for, and flown home the next morning. Perhaps AA had a morning flight that had enough empty seats to sequester the family a few seats away from the rest, if necessary.
Think it through. Im the little country towns I lived, there comes a season comes when wild leeks (Southerners call them "ramps") find their way to the table. The odor they impart to the eater is so bad that a child whose family had them was barred from school the next day, and maybe more than one. The problem is that when you do eat them, you are not offensive to yourself.
How this was dealt with in these little towns was to have a ham-and-leeks communal banquet every year. thus allowing ebery one to enjoy them in season, with no one being put off. I actually have a trophy ball cap given out by a northern Pennsylvania hill town memorializing theirs.
But if one of them tried to board a flight from the county airport the next day, I'm sure that person would be told "No."
This little family might have gotten into something like that--a meal with garlic-laden gefilte fish or borscht or something like that, not realizing the scent they bore from it.
You have no clue as to whether those people did in fact smell, yet you blast them as if you did.
I'm so sick of people like you that have no facts yet are overflowing with righteous indignation.
Remember there are a lot of Muslims in the Detroit area, and I certainly wouldn’t put it past them to pull something like this on a Jewish person to have them removed from the flight, if for no other reason than to embarrass them.. Not saying that was the case, but ‘;m certainly not prepared to say that it wasn’t either. We don’t know.
Sounds like a muzzie filed a complaint.
Actually, I do: The Adler family were asked to deplane last night after several passengers, along with our crew members, complained about their body odor,"
If their version, that they were just sitting quietly being Jewish and they were thrown off for no reason other than them being Jews was true, you don't think the SJWs on the plane would be making a huge issue out of this?
