This video analysis shows how Nathan Phillips scans the group of Covington students, spots Nick Sandmann, then does a classic pre-fight 'square up' with Nick, a young boy. This leaves no question that Nathan was the aggressor, in a dramatic display of adult-child bullying. Nathan's friend stands beside him with a camera on Nick's face making the incident look like a set up fishing to provoke a violent reaction.
And the leftist jack boots otherwise called the washington dc police department will do nothing even with video evidence. But have one spent shot gun shell in your house and you are enemy #1.

That’s what I saw too. He went out of his way to get right in the kid’s face hoping he would get hit. He was so in his face he almost hit the kid in the face with the drumstick.
Media called Phillips an elderly VN war vet, he never served in VN... and he isn’t elderly... he just looks really bad, bad dental hygiene, etc. His skin is so yellow, could be jaundice caused by illegal drugs damaging liver, etc. Looks really bad, only in his 50s.

Please, The FCC does NOT license the Networks, they license individual Broadcast Stations. They oversee Cable but not through the licensing process.

joma89, you’d think this crossed from accosting to a low-degree assault. Notice that he does in fact touch Nick, on the shoulder with his drum. He also touched another boy, twice. Nathan pushed every provocation button he could.
I searched briefly in the Washington DC code but didn’t find a clear statute for this case. But I may have missed it, and no question there are jurisdictions were this would qualify as an assault.

Whenever an individual or group is approached in a provocative manner as the Covington students were, it’s a test. If fear or flight is the reaction, it advertises vulnerability and makes it quite likely that an assault will follow. The Covington students handled the situation 100% correctly.
