Let’s call these jackets what they are, Down Filled Parkas....Never saw one worth $1,000 in my life.......I’ve got one of the best made and warmest coats I’ve ever had in my life and it only cost me about $200.....and worth every penny in the weather we’re currently experiencing.

Canada Goose started in the 1950s as a company making weather-protection gear for Canadian police, forestry people, coast guard etc.... Highly functional and high quality gear for places its REALLY cold.
As I understand it, they got a CEO 15 years ago who smartly thought - why not take our high quality product and turn it into a premium brand? It worked out for them.
