I've seen a severe drop off in smug leftist comments, as well. I'm a big comment reader, and go to comments on every Leftist hit piece, just as an unofficial poll, to see how the readers actually feel about what's been written.

The further left these media outlets go to keep up with the fast-moving-to-the radial-left of the democRATic Party, the more ridiculous and un-American they are sounding to the general public.
This insanity in the democRATic Party will pass. Reasonable people will eventually prevail, if not by words then by force. It will be messy and even bloody.
The pendulum always swings back in the other direction when it reaches the end of its arc.
