Yes, I’ve heard Sundown before.

I also like some older music like Glenn Miller, Bach, Handel, Gregorian chant, gospel, and more.

I also dig Gregorian Chant. Powerful, and soothing at the same time.

Couple of duhs here. They probably listened to their parents music growing up which would have been music from the 60's onward to the 90's.

Second duh..today's "music" sucks. They're even going back and taking the good songs and sucking them up by mixing them with modern rap.

Does anyone here remember Dave Brubeck?

He's an artist, a pioneer!

“Telegraph Road” was Knopfler’s best...esp the live version on “Alchemy Live” album. His solo at the end is amazing & begins at 8:50

I was in a supermarket the other day, and I was amazed to hear Johnny Rivers’ 1966 song “Secret Agent Man” through the background music system.

There are thousands of great songs from that era.

‘Cool’ and bebop are my preferred listening in recent years. Never paid much attention to jazz until I was over forty.

Some of Wynton Marsalis’ jazz does nothing for me, but when he plays old standards and classical pieces, I can appreciate his talent. Damn, he is good.
