That’s IT! Fourth picture down … the roof line of a 67 Plymouth satellite (or GTX or Belvedere II). Now THAT’S the car. With 426 or 440 would be ultimately judgemental on your GTO.

In 1968 My older brother worked while going to school at Tindall & Sons Pontiac in San Antonio.
On the showroom floor was a 1968 GTO Judge.
This song was on the radio at that time.

Someone in my area has a Plane Jane 4dr. Looks bone stock except from the rear where you can see that the plane wheels and tires are very wide. The fenders have been expanded internally to fit. It has a very well set up 505 stroker Hemi. I love sleepers!

Just before we were married, my wife bought a new 73 Cutlass Surpeme. Maroon with a white hardtop.
It was not a particularly good car, ran well etc. but eventually had a lot of mechanical problems. The 350 rocket V8 never stuttered tho.
I think the GTO, Cutlass, Skylark and Chevelle all shared the same basic body.
I still think it was one of the most beautiful cars ever.

Yeah.
I drove one of those around in high school.
Only it was a Volkswagen Camper Van with a 45 horsepower engine.
The girls really go for guys driving old Camper Vans.
I had to carry a stick to keep the girls off me.
My Dad called it “The best birth control, ever.”
