No. I don’t think that’s the issue at all. Blaming men won’t get you anywhere.

Part of the issue is the enormous push for everyone to go to college. So many young people are right now taking on enormous amounts of debt. And it’s taking them longer and longer to establish their careers and their lives. It’s actually one reason fewer men are going to college now. The cost-benefit analysis makes many young men wonder if college is even worth it. Not to mention how hostile college campuses have become towards men.

The other part of the issue is the quality of women is truly bad. And I am not talking about physical appearances. That has nothing to do with it. 80% of divorces are initiated by women. And the laws are heavily skewed in her favor when it comes to such matters of divorce, alimony, child support, and child custody. Men are starting to realize the enormous financial and psychological risk he takes in marriage.
Not to mention women have ideas of equality screwed up by the 3rd wave intersectional feminists that blame men (white men especially) for everything that’s wrong with the world. They aim to destroy the family unit and crush any element of gender roles for women that exist, but want to make sure men keep their roles. So many women have this sense of entitlement and want to cherry-pick the equality. I have myself gone out on dates before with women that make more money than me. But I’m still expected to be the man and shell out 100% of the dinner bill. And if I don’t, does that make me “immature?”

I’m sorry. But blaming only men for all this is ridiculous. I don’t blame any man for avoiding marriage. In the western world today, it’s become a trap with few advantages.

Having raised two men who are now in their mid twenties there are many social issues. My opinion are based on southern white middle class point of view only.

I am divorced from their mother - just a fact but adds insight in how a woman reacts to males growing up when not lead by a strong male head of house. My boys spent a majority of their time with me starting around 12/14 when the split occurred. It increased as they aged. Now they are on their own and they make their time choices wisely as far as I can tell. They both honor their mother and father.

One issue is girls are being raised as little princess into womanhood. Not good. Not all but a majority. In the desire to teach girls to be strong, it turned into not needing men, men are weak, men are enemies. You can’t build someone up by destroying someone else. It doesn’t work. Society no longer even bothers to teach that girls and boys will grow up to become a man and woman together as a team. So we created distrust and competition where there should not be.

Another issue is women don’t appreciate working men. Degree male making 60K = good. Trades but no degree making 85K is not good enough.

Corporate decisions have segregated areas into female / minority functions. Males need not apply. Not 100 percent but definitely biased. So degree male in one of those areas has much to overcome.

Boys in modern education are forced to compete and learn in a environment that is tailored for girls. Doesn’t allow males to mature forces immaturity on males. They have to wait to get out to mature properly but now the have learn to mature and are already behind mentally and hormones are off. Areas where this can be jump started are in areas like sports. Football is a good outlet of controlled physical activity, competition and (yes violence) in good and male lead areas. This assumes the males can make the teams, have qualified oversight / coaches.

Parents need to be parents. Not friends not busy but leaders, examples.

... When placed into a habitat where all of their needs were met, the mice thrived at first. But at a certain population level, they started displaying aberrant behavior. For a while, the population remained roughly constant but the behavior became more and more pathological.

Finally, young male mice became interested only in grooming themselves and the females displayed male-like behaviors. Fewer females became pregnant; those that did would often resorb the fetuses or abandon the pups after birth. When these behaviors became more widespread, the population went into a nosedive. Even after the population pressures were relieved, normal mouse behavior did not return since none of the mice had been properly socialized. The colonies always died out.

Interesting... thanks for sharing.

The major differences I see, after checking these out, is that as the mouse population grew, a larger segment of the male population became more “masculinized” and aggressive (although you correctly stated that the females not only didn’t care for babies but ate them).

I guess the main difference is that in our society an increasing number of men are becoming feminized.

The hypermasculinization of the mice was limited to a minority of the males. As the societal pathology progressed, many of the young males turned to grooming themselves excessively. This seems to be a result of being poorly socialized and unable to fit into existing social structures.

I see here a strong resemblance between their behavior and the behavior of many young men, who have become metrosexuals or developed obsessions with transgenderism.
