Many, many teachers on Long Island make well over $100,000 for a part time job. My friends sister makes $145k for indoctrinating 4th graders
Well, that explains why my property tax is $14,000 a year. 70% of our Nassau County property taxes go to the schools.
I’ll have to concede though, Long Island has recnnsome of the best public schools in the State.
