Just copy immigration system used by New Zealand. Must pass English test, must bring US$1.5 million with to invest in NZ, or have a skill in short supply in NZ as defined by immigration with a job offer in NZ. And of course a medical exam.
That eliminates welfare dependent chain migrants in the current US system.

Trump barely got elected, Hillary had 3 million more votes. Trump was elected because he ran a tough Nationalist, deport the illegals, build a great tall wall policy. Now he's doing the complete opposite and fighting for the foreigners to come here in droves. We are hanging on a thread barely even able to win President elections anymore due to so many unpatriotic foreigners voting in our elections. Trump is hurting our base. This is only 2 yrs in, I can only imagine the damage he'd do if he had a 2nd term.

We have plenty of people in our country, plenty of homeless who could use a manufacturing job, plenty of college students, poor people, welfare people, we have more than enough. The illegals are breeding many anchor babies too. I have illegal neighbors everyone who comes to visit them always has a pack of small babies and kids. Thats true, we keep getting more schools built in my city, more portables on what used to be playgrounds, illegals make many babies, so they can get free housing welfare, and 'anchor" themselves here.

We have a huge Underemployment issue with our College Grads and Trump wants to drag in cheap foreign labor for K street donations .
Now its Make Make India and China great again !
Only the US President sells out its kids future for the cheap labor express like his new pals the Koch. Bros .
I dont recall him peddling More Foreign labor to steal your kiss jobs as a campaign slogan .
