If those “good” workers from India are prohibited from acquiring work visa’s (H1-B), the outfits who use them currently may not have much choice left.

Note-—MOST H1-B workers are computer programmers. With the WWW that job has become easy to move anywhere.

True.

There’s the reality of trying to manage a team of Indians from the US. I have a good friend who has to deal with this. The process barely works, which explains the need to bring the workers stateside.
