ha! my Father made friends with the squirrels in his oak trees... they’d come right up to take cheese (and nuts) from him...they’d then scurry up the trees and hide the new goodies in their stash

They probably had to send away for some special, really tiny instruments.

I remember I was watching a show with the old set from Merv Griffin.
I think Newman was co-hosting that day....

I have a love/hate relationship with squirrels. I don’t necessarily want to kill them so when I adopted a feral barn cat that solved my problem. The squirrels still come around but now keep a respectful distance.

We used to have cats but don’t anymore. It’s been a few years and that is when our squirrel and chipmunk population skyrocketed. Hubby just found one last week in the woodshed while getting wood. Old, flattened, dried up, his guts were missing. Next door neighbors cat like to hunt around our shed which is Ok with us. We did not want to get another cat.

I have a male cat that big and fat too. Dibb can’t even get through the cat door. He would love a squirrel friend like that to scratch his back.
But my little black cat, Ravioli, will kill anything she can sink her claws in to. Good thing too b/c no critters in the garage and even the moles are all gone from all the neighboring yards too!
