Do math without a calculator;

I still have my slide rule and know how to use it. My Dad taught me how to read maps and charts when I was quite young and I would rather use a paper map than a GPS.

I still have a full set of Jeppesen aviation charts.

Circa 1967, in physics class we used slide rules. One always knew who was a science nerd. We had a slide rule poking out of our shirt pocket or a really good one hanging off our belts. The really good ones were to big for a shirt pocket.
