Chicken pox and a couple of other viruses have been associated with higher risk of MS, although I don’t know how strong the link is. It makes sense, since chicken pox virus stays in nerves after the active disease clears, and MS is a nerve disease.

Wow, I’ve never heard that. I had a really bad case of chicken pox when I was 5. In my eyes, everywhere. I still remember it well.
