It’s possible they could be arrested for something unrelated to the Smollett incident. For example, they say they found a rifle in the house.
if the cops decide to go after Smollett this would be a possible way to do it—
If there’s enough evidence (and there probably is) charge these Nigerian guys with the crime, and then give them leniency if they confess and admit Smollett orchestrated the whole thing. We’ll see.
