Texas store clerk shot and killed during robbery
51-year-old Ashraf Lakhani was shot and killed while working in a Lewisville convenience store.
A newlywed convenience store clerk in Texas was shot to death early Friday during an armed robbery, becoming the second person to be killed at a business in the area in three months.
The Lewisville Police Department said in a Facebook post the incident happened just after midnight at a Valero gas station when two armed robbers walked in.
During the robbery, which was captured on surveillance video, one of the men apparently said nothing to 51-year-old Ashraf Lakhani before shooting her.
“It briefly shows the two suspects coming in,” Lewisville Police Capt. Dan Rochelle told FOX4. “The suspect wearing the blue zippered jacket immediately shoots her, and she falls to the ground. Then, he takes the money and they both run out of the store.”
Police said a customer interrupted the robbery. The customer saw the two men running away and discovered Lakhani lying on the floor. She was rushed to the hospital, but she did not survive.
Authorities released an image of one suspect wearing a blue zipper jacket with white stripes. The two men then fled the scene with about $200, according to police.
“Money’s not everything,” store manager Abedin Mawani told FOX4. “A life. It’s very sad.”

Sounds like the shooter knew the store clerk. Jilted lover? Or he could have been hired by someone else to take her out.
Had a shooting last night in North FW, half mile from my home. Started in another neighborhood and traveled to Dairy Queen. 1 fatality, 1 in hospital. Still don’t know why.

Maybe the all the Californians who've moved to Texas will join up with recent "immigrants" and put another Rose Bird on the Texas Supreme Court, and the Huntsville Unit will get converted into a day care center.
There are some truly evil people. This shows a coldness that needs to be punished appropriately.
Nobody who robs a gas station will simply walk up to the person and shoot them to death. They will tell them to get on the ground first, maybe tie them up or gag them, and secure the perimeter.

Yeah, my thought too. And the other murder next door could be the distraction needed to murder the lady. Says she was a newly wed. Wonder?
From the color of the hands (can’t actually show the faces people might get the right idea) it appears that the robber is a teen.

Just commented on Freepmail about the shooting in Illinois recently where the first death was a young personnel department intern, observing their first firing of an employee. They were the first killed. Also a black man.
