Inslee Appointee Lied About Domestic Violence–Dems Confirm Anyway
News Talk ^ | February‎ ‎15‎, ‎2019 | John McKay

Olympia is buzzing this week after it was learned that one of Gov. Jay Inslee's appointees to the Housing Finance Commission 'omitted' (some say lied) on his application, failing to list a 2005 domestic violence conviction that gave him a year in jail.

Noe Castillo Jr. was appointed to the commission last November by Inslee, but had to wait til now to be officially confirmed by the Senate Housing Stability and Affordabability Committee before it became official.

According to Senate Republicans, Castillo Jr. did list a 2002 Assault -4- charge on his application, but omitted a 2005 domestic violence conviction. According to the application, the 2002 charge occurred in Franklin County. The 2005 charge resulted in him getting a year in jail, a year of community supervision, a $500 fine and was ordered to have no contact with his wife.

Castillo Jr. has been a key rising figure in the Carptener's Union since 1994 in Washington state.

SNIP

Legislators are calling the approval 'hypocritical,' given Democratic leaders frequently calling for the resignation of several GOP legislators over allegedly controversial statements about media and reporters in the last year.

Legislators checked Castillo Jr's record after what they felt were inconsistencies in his application and throughout the process. They found the second conviction information in the Washington State Patrol WATCH rapsheet.

Nothing new here. Just another instance of Democrat hypocrisy and double standards.

For those who may not know Inslee is (sadly) the governor of the state of Washington and has announced, or is going to announce, his candidacy for the Democrat nomination for POTUS.

” Anybody could forget doing a year in jail. “

Man that’s cold ( :

If Hussein Obama, Holder, Lerner, Hillary, Brennan and all the rest can ‘forget’ their crimes why not this guy ?

Doesn’t seem to have hurt him on his way up the Dem ladder though.

Some point out that wife-beater jailbird, Noe Castillo, Gov. Jay Inslee’s appointee, lied on his official application......failing to list a 2005 domestic violence conviction that got him a year in jail.

Keep in mind...falsifying official documents is the preferred criminal method to cover-up larger crimes.

REFERENCE—Falsifying Government Documents. involves altering, changing, or modifying a document for the purpose of deception.......can also involve forgery and/or passing copies of false documents. Falsifying documents is usually done in connection with broader criminal aims, such as extortion, government fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, financing terrorism........

Types of documents commonly falsified may include:
Tax returns and income statements
Personal checks
Bank account records
Business record keeping books
Immigration documents (such as visas, passports, etc.)
Identification cards and birth certificates

Many different types of acts can be considered as falsifying a document, including:
Altering or misrepresenting factual information such as prices or monetary amounts
Stating false information when requested to provide truthful statements
Forging a signature
Using official letterheads without authorization
Concealing assets or property WRT obtaining federal/state grants))
Knowingly using or distributing a fake document

A person can only be held criminally liable if they are deliberately acting with the intention of deceiving or defrauding another party.
Falsifying documents is a very serious offense and is generally classified as a felony. This means that a person charged with falsifying documents may be subject to the following legal penalties:
Having to pay a monetary fine
Incarceration in a prison facility

Depending on the gravity of the offense, as well as individual state laws, falsifying documents can result in a prison sentence of 5-10 years. Also, if government documents or authorities were involved, the legal penalties may be more severe. ..... legal penalties may increase with repeat offenses.

The penalty for falsifying government documents is outlined in the Crimes Act of 1958.

We have to begin to understand that “law enforcement” is merely gunthugs for the professional criminal class in states like Washington, California, Illinois and New York.

2005 domestic violence conviction

If Jay Inslee had any honor at all, he would ask the nominee to withdraw from the nomination and if that didn’t happen, then the governor should unilaterally withdraw it. Oh, wait a minute, I see what the problem is....
