Trey Gowdy – McCabe Ain’t Talking About “Crossfire Hurricane”… (3 FBI Investigations)
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 02/19/2019 | sundance

Posted on 02/20/2019 12:36:30 PM PST by Kid Shelleen

This is one of those rare interviews where granular substance surfaces. On a particular issue Trey Gowdy is a valuable SME. Gowdy has seen all of the classified documentary evidence that surrounds the July 31, 2016, FBI counterintelligence operation against the Trump campaign to include Crossfire Hurricane FISA documents, and issues related to “spygate”. Gowdy was one of the few who reviewed all source documents.

In this interview Gowdy draws a distinction between 2016 CH (spygate) and what Andrew McCabe is discussing; highlighting how the investigative issues McCabe continues to talk about are the two additional FBI investigations, one counterintelligence and one criminal, McCabe started on May 10th, 2017

I like Conservative Treehouse but admit sometimes they can be a little verbose but this article is worth a review as well as the Gowdy interview read. My take away is there were THREE FBI investigations of Trump. All were nothing burgers. McCabe has been talking about the last two in order to conflate the issues and deflect from the upcoming Mueller report.

* 7/31/16 - Counterintelligence investigation, Crossfire Hurricane/Spygate spying on Trump campaign.

* 5/10/17 - Counterintelligence investigation Trump as direct target with Russia.

* 5/10/17 - Criminal investigation , obstruction.

I like conservative treehouse! He provided me sanity all during the 2015 to 2016 campaign! I had no idea what the Deep state was or How Deeply they involved we’re in this process and it has helped me get through this time. I know he’s a bit for verbose in a bit tedious but still it’s information that you don’t get anywhere else in the mainstream media

All the investigations were entrapment and frames.

Trump fired Comey because Rosenstein recommended it (everyone remember that?) and because he knew the guy was letting Hillary off the hook.

Like Bolton said: he should have been fired on January 21 2017.

For McCabe to spew his BS that he thought Trump was a Russian asset is simply CYA that they concocted at the time. They knew all the “information” was a crock, they dreamed it up.

If Gowdy is the answer, must have been a stupid question.

Trey Gowdy is Deep State “the Fixer” - no matter the level of treasonous behavior, trust Gowdy to make it go away.

Gowdy is a moron. I don’t care which BS investigation McCabe is talking about that the gang of 8 knew about and approved either directly or by silence. All of them are and were corrupt investigations and the fact the gang 8 knew about any of them shows the gang of 8 were complicit in the illegal spying and attempted coup.

I fully concur. But I also know that nothing will come of it.

“I have been attacked many times on this site for saying Issa, Gowdy and Sessions are all worthless Deep Staters.”

Same here. One respondent whined that Gowdy was doing all he could in his committee. When I asked how many criminal referrals his committee turned over the respondent fell silent.

Crossfire hurricane was started at the direction of Obama and company not little old McCabe. It went all the way to the top. Mueller will find that PT may have been lying on some of his written answers he gave to the questions. They will go up to the line of accusing PT of breaking the law. Trump is a fool for trying to work with Putin. etc.

It was Chaffetz or maybe Nunes who said the number of referrals concerning the attempted coup was “countless.” When they asked Sessions about the referrals, they got silence. So it was Sessions who deep-sixed all the referrals. Expecting the same from Barr, but we'll see.

I hear this comment or one like it over and over here at Good Old FR. This thread is an example. The article itself is rarely referenced because, I presume, that it hadn’t been read.

This is an important thread. It has real news. It is not a dumping ground for the Gowdy haters.

What I don’t hear from the Gowdy Haters is:

1. What was he supposed to do? He is not the Justice Department. He was a Congressman with one vote.

2. A good example of a Congressman who did do “something”.

My personal opinion. Goody and Nunes were the very best we had on our side. Now we just have Nunes.

Gowdy was elected in 2010 and didn’t run in 2018, which, as I recall, was in accord with his promise not to stay in Congress forever. He actually followed through.

“I have been attacked many times on this site for saying Issa, Gowdy and Sessions are all worthless Deep Staters.”

Especially Gowdy, Issa and Goodlatte.

We’d continually hear about these investigations started by these guys and no matter what, nothing ever came of them. So many times I’d think “Gowdy, unless you’ve got some really hard evidence of wrongdoing, maybe you want to STFU - because right now, all I see and hear is a lot of posturing and hot air”.

"My personal opinion. Goody and Nunes were the very best we had on our side. Now we just have Nunes."

That in itself illustrates the problem. Congress does not represent We the People. Congress represent globalist corporations and their own vested interest in the mega bureaucracy/spook/military/complex.

The best thing that can be said about Trey Gowdy is that his successor, William Timmons, is Lindsey Graham Jr. A reach across the aisle, cheap labor express stooge.

Gowdy is right on this time. McCabe is trying to play this as it all started with firing Comey and the MSN is obfuscating. It all started way before the election.
