Why did that kid play at Duke for nothing when it made economic sense for him to play professionally for beaucoup bucks. Should have played in Europe if self serving NBA rules prevented him from joining the league out of high school or middle school for that matter. He should sue the NBA if its rules specifically prevented teams from signing him.

[Duke's Zion] Williamson will be the subject of a massive bidding war for his shoe deal, which some are estimating could be worth $100 million. He’ll be flooded with other endorsement opportunities from the moment he becomes a pro. There’s going to be an entire industry built around his brand. Williamson doesn’t get to pick his first NBA team, but he does get to pick his agent. If you’ve been paying attention to Duke games lately, you’ve seen some famous faces in the crowd that may or may not be trying to get his attention. With the Lakers on an East Coast road trip right before the All-Star Break, LeBron James and teammate Rajon Rondo made an appearance at Duke’s game against Virginia in Charlottesville. Uncoincidentally, NBA Sports agent Rich Paul was there, too...

Zion was rated as only a top 5 NBA prospect entering last summers Draft at age 17. By waiting just one season, now a year older, playing for the NCAA’s #1 college basketball team, he’s virtually guaranteed being the #1 pick, has 2 million followers on Instagram and is ‘courting’ prospective mega global shoe deals as he enters the NBA in the 2019-2020 season.

I believe he has no grounds to sue the NBA because the “one and done” rule is written into the league’s collective bargaining agreement with the players’ union.
