It started in the martini generation. I can say one theory of mine is the introduction of baby formula and right at the baby boom Bad timing

I suggest you read GENERATION OF PSYCHOPATHS, about the Baby Boomers. The author ascribes their pathology to bottle feeding, instead of breast, too much TV, and Dr. Benjamin Spock's permissive baby-raising. (IMHO, the secularization of society also contributed.)
