Sadly this happens more then is reported. I work in a community hospital in southern NJ. There a psyche unit in the place( I call it “The Happy Hatch’’). Few months ago they brought in a ten year old kid who threatened to kill his mother for the same reason. Of course mom bought him the damn video player. She was arguing like hell with the doctors to have him released so she could take him home.

Dad didn’t teach him well enough. My 11 year old boys hit what they aim at. Luckily for me, they are not screwed up mentally.

There is a little boy in my community who is maybe 7-8 years old who we FReepers will read about someday.
I have watched him calmly walk to a kid playing, and without words exchanged, haul-off and punch him or her in the face.

As he hits them I can see he is expressionless. Except for eyes that are filled with crazed rage.
The kid’s mother is a teacher and Ivy League educated. Smart woman, yet seemingly frightened of her sociopathic son.

Violent kid (apparently) has teachers and specialists teach him at home.
It is like watching Damien in The Omen III because the neighborhood knows he will kill someone someday.

This boy should never move back into the same house with his family. No one would be safe. He’s already proven how vicious he can be over a minor disciplinary move. I have had a relative almost that bad.

Why would anyone want this sociopathic asshole. As you say, "No one would be safe" in any house or environment other than perhaps juvenile prison. Drop him in Afghanistan he'd fit right in.

I will agree with that.

In either hunting or self-defense, you never shoot to wound. Although a shot in the ass can kill if you hit a femoral artery. Dad was lucky.

In this case I would say the boy was hunting so he should never have taken the shot until he had a sure kill shot on his target.
