I saw a car that had to brake on a fairly busy local road—the braking made about a foot of snow go forward completely covering the windshield.Snow on the roof of the car can be dangerous.

That’s true, on my past cars I would brush the roof too. Unfortunately my current car I can’t reach the whole roof but that’s ok, I’m retired and park my car in the garage where it’s snow proof.......
