“No one is beyond the law in New York,” Vance said in a statement.
Except Hillary and anyone connected to her.

If the left were in charge, they would arrest every single person who voted for Trump and put them in jail

“No one is beyond the law in New York,”

Unless you live in Chappaqua NY and your last name is Clinton.

Stinking hypocrites. I wish a giant meteor landed on Cuomo’s New York mansion.

Kubaki theatre at it’s grandest. I guess the first time they investigated all these charges against Manafort they were just funning around and said naw...nothing important, go away. But the moment he attached to the Trump campaign.....

Actually, this may perversely be a good thing, because it will likely keep Manafort out of jail while they “try” him. That will give Trump the running room he needs to get re-elected before issuing a blanket pardon.

This is so Trump can’t pardon Manafort completely. Fed crimes but not state crimes. All of this is coordinated and there’s no coincidences

“No one is beyond the law in New York,” Vance said in a statement. Manafort’s alleged actions “strike at the heart of New York’s sovereign interests, including the integrity of our residential mortgage market,” Vance added. ............................ Now, lets go after the former NY Senator from Arkansas. It doesn’t even have to be a deep investigation, all they have to do, is start one, that alone would be impressive.

The problem with Manafort is that he really committed these crimes, but these prosecutions are purely political including this New York action. The elites in Washington and in New York City are frequently guilty of financial crimes but if they are powerful and connected to the right people, they will never be prosecuted.

Trump can still pardon Manafort but only for the federal crimes. But just because he has been indicted does not mean a state conviction is a slam dunk. I imagine there will be complicated evidentiary and procedural issues and that this will go on a long time.

Cy Vance, who refused to prosecute Harvey Weinstein because he was a major contributor to his campaign,is the State of New York’s champion against Manafort? LOL!

NY AG is corrupt and only focused on prosecuting political enemies. This country is becoming third world. I foresee a physically divided country in the next few decades where conservatives move to “conservative” states and liberals remain in the city cesspools. In 50 years or so the leftist cities will fall like Venezuela.
