I don’t know because I don’t use it, but does win 10 have a “restore” tool like Win 7? Just in case so you can return it back to the state it was in before they do these Borks?
Allegedly yes. I don't have any experience with it personally, since I only run Win10 in a VM, and when it goes TITSUP (Total Inability To Support User Productivity) I just trash it and restore the VM in its entirety from backup.
