All seven hundred and three military personnel aboard the ship have received measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) booster vaccinations, according to the US Navy's Fifth Fleet headquartered in Bahrain.


Decidedly not the anti-vaccination crowd, I guess.

Yes, that’s my point. Here in the homeland, every cough, sneeze or sniffle lately has been blamed on the anti vaxers.

I think there’s a standing order in the military that if you are operational you get vaccinated.

And perhaps (or at least when) I was in the service many years ago there was a push for everybody operational or nonoperational, due to the fact that at any time anyone could become operational.

And I do recall people trying to circumvent that standing order and were not successful, and in the case of some, they were asked to leave.
