She was a bartender. If she did burn through $50k in savings, how did she save all of that and did she pay all the appropriate taxes on that money?

$1000 a month in NYC sounds like a sweet deal. Does her dad offer any of his other rental properties at that fair rate? Or does he discriminate? What does the new tenant pay there?
