“Tests show that dormant herpes viruses reactivate in more than half the astronauts who travel on the Space Shuttle and International Space station, according to new NASA research - a phenomenon the space agency says could pose problems for deep space missions”

This is about the same rate as those that stay on the ground. This is crap science.

Nature is hazardous to the life of man.

Hot climate in summer.
Cold climate in winter.
Viruses
Bacteria

We’ve got a handle on the non-human predators thing but people are still mauled by animals.

In space add more radiation to the mix.

So many so intrigued with homosexuality...wonder what makes a person obsess about something he supposedly considers repugnant...those who cry loudest about racism tend to be the most racist........

Depends on the orbit.

They could always park on the dark side of the moon.
Before the Chinese surveillance cam?

Being turned on is a physiological process. Either you’re turned on by a shapely female body or you’re not. Maybe the intrigue of which you speak is someone trying and failing to suppress a deeper impulse that they’re afraid of.

I know you weren’t referring to CP. I was explaining how reactivation of the virus is similar. Both are viruses. Both in the same family. Both can be flaired up. So, they wouldn’t disqualify someone with herpes, just the same they would not disqualify someone who had chickenpox.
