I am sure someone(s) has written a book on this, but I am old enough that in grade school in the late 60s early 70s, it was still a conservative foundation, with children being taught that pilgrims immigrated to the New World to worship in freedom and further the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, indeed the Mayflower Compact references such. And that was the separating part of our nation, that our rights did not come from a sovereign monarch, or the state, but from our Creator. That separated us from every other nation, and it is has been copied over and over, a constitutional republic. Our foundation was build on Judeo-Christian principles, but more and more, our country is becoming anti-God, anti-Jew, anti-Christian, and I will bet there will be a day while I am still alive that it will be considered hate speech to repeat certain parts of the Bible, and a jailable offense. And like Glenn is contending, I think the country has crossed the point of no return, we will never turn back as a whole nation to those principles. We will have pockets in our country, but eventually we will outnumbered, this nation will split into factions of what it stood for at the beginning, and what the people Glenn referenced want it to be.
Can’t argue with that and the left knows this.What I am scared of is the worthless GOP.
