The success of all of this has been the delaying, by the democrats, of the agenda of the American people.
That was the ultimate objective. They knew from the starts there was nothing and hoped the president would resign.

It does seem to have sent a message that supporters who join the Trump administration can be faced with charges that have nothing to do with what they do while holding public office, and would not have otherwise been pursued.

The reaction to the Trump victory and presidency has made clear how corrupt beyond repair both political parties, the Legislative Branch, and the Judiciary are. The other thing it demonstrates is that so many people (who I used to think had brain cells) can be ginned up to become hopelessly irrational and hateful.
