Yup, that is how it appeared.
Just for reference, I am pro-dog. We have a German Shepherd / Chow mix (she is our guard dog, and will bite if necessary and she seems to know when and how is the right time, but she is always under our control) and a Newfoundland (sweetest dog in the whole world, dumb as a post. Sometimes I don’t even think he knows his name).
i have 3 big dogs myself. I had a beautiful collie mix that we rescued that bit( everybody but me) I had to put him to sleep. I did not go around making excuses for the behavior. I could have, too! I don’t know how he was treated before we had him.
