With the supplemental crime reports now out in the public, I could see the Illinois Attorney General appointing a Special Prosecutor to look into “irregularities” in the Smollett case.
This isn’t over yet.
I think they committed the unpardonable sin of leaving Rahm out of the money. If he didn't get paid, he's making sure he's not on the beach when this corruption shitstorm makes landfall.
This was just a hellishly bad whitewashing, they made no attempt to make this appear as if it were something else.
