LEESBURG — Police arrested a Leesburg woman Monday morning for allegedly attacking a woman’s camper and then turning on her neighbors when they began to take notice.
Amy Lynn Gordon, 47, is being held on a $47,000 bond after she allegedly attacked a woman’s camper with a small metal flag pole at 28423 U.S. 27, screaming at her and beating on the windows before turning her anger on concerned neighbors.
The woman who owned the camper said Gordon had originally knocked on the door and demanded the keys to the woman’s vehicle, saying it was stolen from her. The victim and the neighbors say theydon’t know Gordon, however.
When the woman closed the door in her face, Gordon reportedly went into a frenzy, attacking the camper and attempting to break in. She then went after the neighbors after two of them mentioned calling the police. According to the police report, she struck them both with the flag pole and her fist. A third neighbor was able to rush in and pin Gordon to a car.
According to the police report, the neighbors were pinning Gordon down when a deputy arrived. No one was seriously injured in the attack.

Years ago I had one that looked like that pounding on my motel room door in the middle of the
night in San Antonio. Myself and Mr. M1911 asked her if I could help. She said no and left. Next day I found my car had been cleaned out.
She needs to be in an asylum.

Do you mean all your stuff was stolen, or she washed and vacuumed it?
That was in 1969. Colored tv’s were a novelty then and they were huge. I had just inherited my grandmothers. They got that and it would have taken two of them to move it. Got a few other little things but missed the rest of my guns. White trash.
