Actually, for me it’s a three hour window. I get home at six and can eat until 9. :)
The key is that your body has no calorie intake for over 12 (preferrably 16) hours. That’s when it stops using blood sugar and uses fat for energy. It not only causes one to lose weight, but cleans out your whole system. It becomes like a daily detox.
Sorry to keep responding to you but you seem to have the same eating philosophy as me. Ever do the 5:2 diet? You eat normal for 5 days a week and take two days off. Not even on a row.
You know, that makes a LOT of sense.
Seems like no sugar/carbs in the system for 16 hrs would mean that the pancreas would get a long rest from making insulin. Thus, no insulin resistance?
