One of my favorite “grifter” movies ! But “The Sting” is number 1 and “A Big Hand for the Little Lady” is pretty good too.
Great movie!
I have the DVD..signed by JT walsh and Joe mantegna. Mamet and his lovely wife Rebecca, thanks..
I have never seen this and I’ll have to now. I liked Mamet’s Glengarry Glenn Ross for it’s harsh edgy look into the characters
character flaws*
COOL !
I did work on Warrior with DM and then he knew I was like him in the “right” way so he hooked me up. His pretty wife Rebecca pidgeon made the call and presto..
Great film - the late Ricky Jay was a man you did not want to play poker with. Make that any game of chance, for that matter.
A Classic! But...another one of those great movies you can only watch once...like "Breakheart Pass" or "The Sixth Sense".
“The Winslow Boy” - totally different from “Glengarry” or “House of Games”, but really great dialogue (Mamet screenplay) and really neat story, especially as regards the interplay among the main characters (Mamet director).
A water pistol.
A movie about bad people doing bad things.
Have this one. One of my all time fav movies. Mamet is a genius.
I was expecting to watch the whole movie, not a 2-1/2 minute clip. Waste of my time.
