When I would drink 9 bottles of whiskey and fall over, nobody said I had “fainted”.

I'm sure some purchases of those mini bottles is benign but I have to think that the majority of those bottles are consumed in the car and pitched out the window. Based on the massive amounts of empty minis I see on the roadsides. Nobody likes to talk about it though.
No, I'm not advocating banning them by the way. Just pointing out the reality of what these minis are mostly used for.

I have never drank so much I passed out, but I wished that I had instead...................

The school probably banned soft drinks.
He turned to the hard stuff.

We very rarely have any alcohol in our house, but occasionally those mini bottles are on sale for $1 at our grocery, and I am often tempted to buy a few to stick away for “when needed”.

When Uncle Cotton wrecked his dad's car, he "fell asleep" behind the wheel. The day of euphemisms is long past.
Instead of "fainted", the story should have read "passed out".

We did that too, it was referred to as “Bullpiss”. And I threw up also, but in the back of a Michigan State Police cruiser on their pile of coats and hats they had back there with me taking me home.
I was kind of blatto at the time, but I remember watching mom and dad take the back seat out and help them clean it. Needless to say, I didn’t get out to party much that summer after that....

:: why do people even buy them ::
Chefs/homecooks (like me) buy them because they are the perfect size for sauces and glazes. Use the whole thing and no large volumes left over to “monitor” or finish off. [HIC!]

Middle school is when it starts. Girls steal vodka when they are at babysitting jobs.they put it in a water bottle then tuck it into their backpacks for partying later.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Well, they were the mini size.
I knew someone who hid bottles of vanilla extract in their locker. Never understood that since a lot of students had beer and whiskey in their vehicles.

You buy them if you have a recipe that requires a small amount of that ingredient and you don’t want to give cabinet space to a large amount of that ingredient that’s just going to sit and collect dust or be broken by some klutz thereby sending the entire investment down the drain or all over the floor or whatever.
