I’ve been wondering about the EO Trump signed in Dec. 2017 and again a year later; about freezing assets of those involved in, even very periphally, with “corruption and human trafficking”.
I would assume anyone working in NXIVM would be under those provisions. Do you know anything about this? I wonder if anyone has had assets frozen under this EO. Never read anything about it in any news etc.
Today's New York Times article about Gina Haspel is filled with the usual deep state anti-Trump propaganda. (Gina was not interviewed for the article.)

I wonder the same thing. The EO hasn’t come up in any of the coverage on NXIVM to my knowledge.
I went back and looked ( https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-blocking-property-persons-involved-serious-human-rights-abuse-corruption/ ).
It seems to me to be constructed to seize non-U.S. persons’ assets. I’m not sure it would play against U.S. citizens.
But, the NXIVM laundered/smuggled loads of money between US, Canada, Mexico, and possibly Ireland. There are the necessary foreign ties.
Also, I’m not sure Fedzilla knows how much money they have. They squirreled a LOT away through byzantine trusts and front companies. Cash accounts, equities, real estate, you name it. All over the place.
When Nancy Salzman was arrested, they found (and took) about half a million in cash at her place.
Maybe a good test case if any of these yahoos ever get convicted?
