Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have made some unfortunate choices.

If they had simply made a donation to the college of their choice, instead of “investing” in a backdoor scheme to get their children into a specific school, it would not have been seen as something like “breaking rules”.

Most college education paths end up yielding about the same outcome, even though some lesser-known colleges may not carry the same “Prestige” for their alumni as the “exclusive” schools. Hiring this artificial boost for the kids may or may not affect the long-term benefits regarding career paths or financial rewards later in life, but then, maybe college is not for everybody as a necessary adjunct for personal satisfaction.

And that is the only thing you buy, in this lifetime, personal satisfaction. Just like the only thing you sell, is your time. Everything else is just adornments and ornaments that pass through your life, that either end up passing through somebody else’s life, or being consumed in the process of passing through your own.

On the way, live the best life you can, so at the end, “No regrets”. Your time here is limited and actually quite precious, spend it in constructive pursuits, not following some improbable path that only leads to grief and disillusion.

Looking through the peep hole as I am, and seeing some things about their one daughter, I’d say that this is not their first child rearing mistake.

For many of the entitled class, it’s “bling”, no different than the latest fashion item.

Most people don’t go around mentioning what college they attended. These entitled kind of people do, along with what handbag they’re carrying, what car they drive, what designer label they have on their clothes. The value of their education is only for show.

Her daughter Olivia Jade was already on her way to becoming her own millionaire based solely on her status as a marketable "Instagram Influencer" and by many accounts, never bothered attending any of the classes she was enrolled in.
