He ended his investigation because of two words: William Barr.

I think the new AG asked him for his report.
Mueller would have dragged it out for as long as he could.

Because the DemonRats STOLE THE HOUSE and Mueller could now hand-off TRUMP HARASSMENT THROUGH 2020 to the DemonRats in the House (Congress). This is why he PUNTED on the ‘obstruction of justice’ allegation, TO KEEP THE TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME ALIVE AND WELL FOR THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

He was told “You milked the taxpayers enough Bob.” “You haven’t found anything and this is to cover-up something else.” Bob can’t protect all his friends anymore.

What do you do if you’re Mueller and after 2 years you have nothing? Release exactly between election cycles to have caused maximum disruption and to not give Trump a campaign bounce.

He investigated long enough to help the Democrats in the midterms. Once they had the House, his work was finished and they could take up the job of keeping the “investigation into collusion” in the news from there. He waited a few months so as to not make it too obvious.

Mueller knew there was no collusion within the 1st month of his investigation but kept ‘investigating’ in hope’s that Trump would do something he could cite as obstruction. That’s the reason for the leaks about indicting his son and for the outrageous pre-dawn raids on Manifort and Roger Stone. He was daring Trump to try and stop him. Trump wanted to but he didn’t take the bait.

I think a deal was offered and accepted.

After Sessions was fired, just before Whittaker took over, Mueller’s Weissman sent over indictments of the President’s children. That was a mistake.

Barr pulled those indictments and ostensibly showed Mueller the goods on Weissman. Weissman stepped down immediately.

Then Mueller was ordered to make the report or else.

Mueller was heavily involved in Uranium 1. It’s also come out today he relied on the hidden Rosenstein scope memo that directed his actions based on the garbage dossier. He was also obviously made aware of the FISA corruption.

Mueller is in deep Schiff. He very likely will do jail time unless he has a plea deal.

Dammit, I’m just finishing up my own vanity, where I cover that.

YOUR ANSWER - Barr simply asked Mueller to show him what evidence of collusion they had. When they came back with nothing, he gave them 30 days [or so] to write a final report...that was it.

This entire crap would have wrapped up prior to the 2018 election, except that we lost Alabama and didn’t have enough votes in the Senate to replace Sessions. Sucks that a bunch of conservatives there sat out that election, out of ‘principle’.

I tend to agree: Because of the appointment of Barr. An adult.

Mueller’s investigation may be “over” as far as him leading it; but his task has been from the beginning to harass and impede Trump. He knows well that Congress, led by the hysterical idiots running the House, will gleefully run with all the nuanced insinuations he left behind in his report. And you can clearly tell this by the sheer number of turdettes he left behind.

Dan Bongino’s show makes this fairly clear. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPkY1E3v-qg&feature=em-uploademail

In at least 3 instances, he brings up his little list of “events”. For example, the Flynn > Kislyak convos. He birngs up that “it was suspected” that blah blah blah but [paraphrasing] ‘...we have determined that there was no significance to these social meetings, that nothing substantial occurred, and there was no relaxation of US policies nor discussion of dilution of same....’

Uhhh, OK, a**hole, then why bring it up?

Then there was the heroic telling of the Don Jr. meeting, where again, “it was suspected” or “there were indications that” but the paragraph concludes with “no evidence was found of.....”

So again, a nothing, a zero, an event of no discernible significance.

Uhhh, OK, then why bring it up?

He brings it up so that it looks like he and his crew considered all the everythings and were thorough.....and even though they found nothing, he wanted to leave as his legacy the playbook for the Dems to bring up, again and again, the same old tired crap, over and over, so that what Robert Mueller missed, Maxine Waters and Elijah Cummings can re-examine with their collective 165 IQ.

That is and was his charge from the beginning. To disrupt and impinge upon Trump’s presidency.

They had to run it through the midterms at least to manipulate the voters against Trump.

President Trump's complete innocent of all wrong doing and his total cooperation resulted in Mueller finishing sooner than he planned.

The Mueller Investigation is old news. It was used and reused to the extent it was no longer relevant.

It’s past time to conclude that and move to Phase II:

Congressional Investigations.

Because he had to wait until the midterms were over. (The vast abdication of multiple long time Republican House members, setting the stage for a democrat takeover, was, in my opinion, no coincidence.)

Barr put a stop to it. Which in itself is why the Rats are pissed off. What the next Democrat party elected president should face is the first two years in prison to pay Trump back for what they did to him.

I suspect that the new AG Barr had something to do with it all. “Okay Mueller, wind it up.”

Because Barr became AG, asked Rosenstein and Mueller what they had on “collusion”, they had nothing, and Barr said they have four weeks to shut down the witch hunt.

His actual investigation ended about a year ago there hasn’t been anything new to look at for a long time.

Barr told him to can the crap.
