‘CBS Has a White Problem’: Executive Blasts Toxic Culture at Network in Explosive Letter
Last year, CBS hired two white-shoe law firms to conduct an independent investigation into alleged misconduct by then-CEO Leslie Moonves, as well as broader cultural issues at CBS. Writing for Variety, Whitney Davis — a veteran of the company’s news and entertainment divisions — describes how the investigation prompted her to reconsider her nearly decade-and-a-half career at CBS.
In February, I decided to part ways with CBS, the corporation where I began my media career and most recently served as director of entertainment diversity and inclusion. Last fall, when sexual-misconduct allegations against then-CEO Leslie Moonves prompted an outside investigation into the CBS workplace culture, I assumed that all forms of discrimination would be delved into. The attorneys I spoke with did not lead me to believe otherwise. I was eager to tell my story and grateful that two independent law firms were brought in to conduct interviews with several hundred employees. By sharing my experience, I hoped to shed desperately needed light on the truth that CBS, sadly, doesn’t value a diverse workplace.
After an initial interview with one investigator, I talked to six attorneys from both firms, detailing my experience at the company. In that heart-wrenching two-hour interview, I talked about a workplace fraught with systemic racism, discrimination and sexual harassment.

I told a professor that he was engaging in "New Speak" and he promptly decided to flunk me. As long as you take the abuse they will bat you around and then leave you more or less alone. Stand up to them and the true psychopath comes out and will try to destroy you.
Oh, I challenged the grade and won but had to transfer to another school as his little group of sycophants decided that physical and verbal abuse in other classes was amusing. I was labeled a "disrupting influence" even though I never started it and would ignore it for as long as possible.

There are a million blogs, websites, news sites, video-streaming sites, and educational sites out there. Any person wanting an opinion or facts on any news or historical event can access them. They can be viewed as they occur, or at any point in the future
TV broadcasters like CBS are like wooden carts, compared to jet airplanes of the internet. Where does that leave media like CBS, who can only deal in 1-2 minute increments, at scheduled times? Over one channel and one media?
They are dying. And as they die, their only option is to be propoganda outlets.
Fourteen or so years at CBS tells me as much about the complainant as this essay of allegations does about the lying bastards she worked with. Of course they're racists and consider anything beneath them in the food chain prey. They're Left Wing. You're just now noticing there's correlation?
They are the least tolerant. I use to deal with them every day in New York city and it was utter freakin hell. Like dealing with the most spoiled children you can imagine. Like I told this one leftist I was debating, the difference between them and conservatives is that liberals will always seek to harm, censor, harass people they disagree with politically. Conservatives on the other hand will NEVER do that and if they do they aren’t conservative. Conservatives above all believe in freedom for all, freedom of ideas, freedom of opinion and of course free speech. You’ll never see Conservatives censoring people, having their own version of Kristallnacht in the streets smashing windows, burning cars because a liberal is giving a speech at a College, you’ll never see Conservatives marching up and down the street holding signs that say “Not my President” because their candidate lost.

I’ve also seen this many times first hand. I think it’s due to the way they treat their political philosophy like a religion. Facts, evidence, debate, fairness do not matter to them because they are operating on fanticism and blind faith. Anyone who disagrees with them isn’t just expressing a different, independent opinion; they are evil and committing a form of blasphemy. I’m convinced that’s how so many leftists are certain that they and they alone know truth and goodness and why they can be so very closed-minded, intolerant, and arrogant toward people who dare to disagree with them, chosing to defame and dehumanize rather than debate. The Spanish Inquision didn’t debate with heritics after all.
“Victim” groups—or all people in general—are only important to them so long as they can use them politically. Their regliously-held social/political beliefs are everything to them and justify in their minds all the double standards in the world.
