I agree. When they hit $50,000 I couldn’t believe it.
Remember all those “hot-rod” pickup trucks in the early 2000’s?
You hardly ever see them anymore. They were pretty high-priced as I recall. I did run across one for sale on Craigslist.
Of course, even the SUV’s that were plentiful back then have disappeared. I think a lot of stuff got destroyed by Cash For Clunkers. And that’s a shame.
Yeah it’s not easy finding those old vehicles. Nowadays they use those fiberglass kits and put in a modern engine’s. I like the old cars because I can work on them without needing a computer science degree.

that was the plan... to remove them from the US. To move people into more controlled and trackable vehicles.
They really need to bring back those cheap little Toyota pickups from the 80s.
