I’ve got an Nvidia Shield TV box and when done watching, we shut it down, plus turn off the strip outlet that powers it because it has something similar to Alexa in it and has a microphone in the remote. Hopefully killing the power via the strip outlet is enough. I’ve been using Opera Mini browser on our phone. There’s a slew of googly apps that can’t be uninstalled which I hate. There’s some open source phones being worked on with Purism/Librem leading the way.
